Job Description
5th Shift
POSITION
Summary:
Responsible for setting up and running 10 color quick changeover flexographic printing presses and producing a quality product according to department procedures and standards.
Works safely and follows all department and plant safety rules.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
- Performs pre-setup checks to ensure orders are prepared to outlined specifications.
- Sets-up machine according to department procedures and perform all required quality checks.
- Makes necessary adjustments to the machine while in production, perform quality checks required while in production, and help with other job task required to keep machine in production.
- Keeps up with incoming raw materials and material produced on machine.
- Completes all required department paperwork.
- Troubleshoots printing issues and escalates to department management in a timely manner.
- Ensures that housekeeping on press and surrounding areas are clean and WPO standards are followed.
- Notifies maintenance and department management of all repairs needed on equipment.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-3 years of experience
- Flexibility within a high performance work environment
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Able to work without close supervision
- Able to follow instructions and make decisions based on data obtained
