is seeking an Engineering Aide 3 in Simpsonville, SC.
The Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting engineering activities in developing and improving processes related to cable harness and integrated assemblies
The Engineering Technician will work with teams inside and outside the engineering group to ensure a product is defined and a manufacturing process is delivered that meets and exceeds cost, quality, and schedule requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Support new programs/products through production and ensure the product meets cost, delivery, and customer/internal specifications requirements including coordinating efforts with product, manufacturing, and quality engineering.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Identify all tools and fixtures required to manufacture the product to specifications.
  • Build fixtures, tools, and aids to support manufacturing processes and improvements.
  • Ensure a safe working environment is set and maintained.
  • Develop, design, acquire, or create new equipment for improved productivity, efficiency, and safety.
  • Develop excellent documentation of processes and follow change management processes when changes occur.
  • Utilize Lean principles to set up and improve work cells.
  • Create & maintain items in the ERP system including the bill of materials, routings, and item settings.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • This position requires an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, or a high school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of work experience in a related field.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to create and maintain engineering drawings using Autocad and Solidworks
  • Experience working with engineering teams
  • Fluent with desktop computers and ability to use Microsoft Office with proficiency
  • Working knowledge of cable and harness assemblies
  • Experience with using power tools for wood and metalworking
  • Experience with 3D printing
  • Experience with AS9100

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
