Production Supervisor-Night shift

American Plastics, headquartered in St.
Louis, Missouri, is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic-injection molded products for the household & garage storage and commercial cleaning end-markets.
We are searching for a positive, enthusiastic, and compassionate person to fill a day shift supervisory role at our Simpsonville, SC location.
Primary role is to supervise all aspects of the people and assigning them to presses in accordance with the priority list.
A great communicator and proven people skills are required.
Hours and shifts vary.
This position will report to the Production Manager.
Responsibilities:
o Supervise, schedule, and assign 20 - 50 employees o Work with Set-up, Tooling and Maintenance on proper line layouts o Participate on continuous improvement teams for cycle time & scrap reduction o Analyze and develop workstation layouts for labor optimization o Other duties as assigned by Management o Timekeeping Requirements:
o Minimum of 3 years' experience in supervision (plant supervision a plus) o Excellent oral and written communication skills o May participate in housekeeping, 5S, and/or in Lean activities o Adhere to all safety procedures o Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills o Through a strategy of continuous improvement and teamwork, Continental Commercial Products is dedicated to establishing the highest industry standards for quality, value, and service.
oPrior injection molding experience a plus We are committed to the follow:
